2022 MCE Trade Fair Special: all the signs of a hoped-for return to normality

The Expocomfort MCE Trade Fair concluded with a sum of truly positive experiences. The first in-person event for the most important Italian trade fair in the plumbing and heating sector was fruitful and inspiring for Eurotubi. Even though there are still numerous problems worldwide, we are experiencing a “very reactive” market phase. Let’s take a look at the new products previewed at the fair, showing you an extensive gallery of images of the products and the event itself, as we do every year.

Statistics from the 42nd edition of the MCE Expocomfort Trade Fair

Over 1,581 exhibitors and 90,735 visitors.

It has been a good four years since the last edition, and with the world scenario still stabilizing, more than 75% of the visitors to the Milan MCE Expocomfort trade fair came from abroad, despite the continuation of certain restrictions for COVID 19 and the many inconveniences due to the current precarious national and international transportation situation.

Visitors to the fair came from over 130 countries, primarily Turkey, the guest country for the 2022 edition. The many visitors from the Middle East, India, and China confirmed the international nature of the Italian plumbing and heating trade fair.

New Eurotubi Europa products presented at the MCE 2022 trade fair

This year, in addition to presenting our established lines of pressfittings in carbon steel and AISI 316L stainless steel and available with both M and V profiles at the Eurotubi stand, we also wanted to introduce some significant innovations.

Primarily, we wanted to take the opportunity of the trade fair to present the V profile pressfitting lines definitively.

1. Commercial launch of the Eurotubi V profile pressfitting

Our V profile is available in both carbon steel and AISI 316L stainless steel. There are now many approvals available for this profile at the level of individual countries and their regulations, as well as internationally recognized ones such as the DVGW for potable water.

2. Eurotubi novelties: appendages for plumbing systems

Previewed at the Milan MCE Expocomfort Trade Fair, Eurotubi Europa’s new appendages catalogue for plumbing and heating systems aroused a great deal of curiosity. We noticed a lot of interest from our existing customers and from new contacts made during the event. 3. Packages of pressfitting pipes cut to two-metre lengths for less complicated transport

When constructing small and medium-sized plumbing and heating systems, having to bring six-metre lengths of pipe on site often becomes very complicated. Considering the needs of plumbers with vans that do not have a very high capacity, Eurotubi created packages of pipes in two-metre lengths. Inside each pipe package, which is designed to protect them during transport, you will find the sections already internally and externally deburred and capped to prevent the intrusion of dust and dirt.

4. Eurotubi Starter Kit: everything you need to start installing pressfittings

The latest new product presented by Eurotubi at MCE 2022 was the Starter Kit, a practical and elegant professional trolley containing everything needed to create pressfitting systems.

The Eurotubi Pressfitting Starter Kit is available in three versions:

Trolley with fittings and manual accessories for preparing pressings;
Trolley with fittings, manual accessories, and non-EU pressing machine with three jaw clamps and two batteries;
Trolley with fittings, manual accessories, and CE-certified pressing machine with three jaw clamps and two batteries;

The Eurotubi pressfitting Duomo on permanent display at the Milan Fairgrounds

For Eurotubi, the 2022 edition of the MCE Expocomfort Trade Fair was truly special, and not just because it was the first in-person event after the pandemic. Since December 2021, our reproduction of the Duomo of Milan made of pressfittings has been permanently on display at the Milan International Fairground service centre, an extremely prestigious location, after having sought a suitable place for quite some time.
